This Old Vine Cabernet has a dark garnet color with aromatics of blackberries, black cherries, cigar box, and hints of currants. The palate presents a medium-plus-bodied wine framed by firm tannins and bright acidity. Flavors of blackberries, Bing cherries, white peppercorns, leather, and warmed baking spice combine with hints of dried tobacco leaves and bramble.
Hold for 4-10 years before enjoying this wine with an excellent Grilled Tri-Tip, Leg of Lamb, Wild Boar Ragu, or even Ratatouille.
