This Bordeaux-style blend has a dark garnet hue with aromas of opening a cedar box filled with ripe black cherries, plum and leather, with subtle hints of cracked pepper, iron and fresh sage. Touting tremendous texture and a supple body with rustic and well-integrated tannins supporting a palate of ripe black cherry, plum and tobacco leaf with hints of dried herbs and black pepper. This wine will only improve over the next several years. Cellar up to 15 years.
Pair with a grilled T-bone with grilled summer vegetables, braised short ribs or stuffed mushrooms.
