2022 Merlot, SHW Founding Vineyard, Walla Walla Valley
Aromas of blackberry compote and black cap raspberries with underlaying notes of new leather, 60% dark chocolate and earth kissed by the morning dew. A lush but firm mouthfeel with bright acidity, followed by flavors of marionberries and raspberries with hints of cocoa dust, black pepper and leather that continue to linger on the tongue.
2022 Cabernet Franc, Walla Walla Valley
This vintage shows a garnet color with a nose of cranberries, cherries, tobacco leaf and number 2 pencil with hints of green peppercorns and thyme. The palate is medium body with medium acidity with flavors of cherries, black plums, with hints of leather and cacao framed by velvety integrated tannins.
2022 Malbec, McClellan Estate
Aromas of muddled marionberry explode from the glass with underlying notes of cardamom, and leather. While the aromas lead your thoughts down a path of spiced berry cobbler, your palate is engulfed by juicy texture and velvety flavors of red plums and blackberry compote, unlaying flavors of pink peppercorns and pipe tobacco, all wrapped around medium tannins and medium acidity.
